HAPPY 37TH BIRTHDAY FRANK GORE

Wishing a Happy 37th Birthday to Franklin Gore!

On Cinco De Mayo, instead of blacking out on cheap tequila, Frank Gore signed a one-year deal with the New York Jets. The five-time pro bowler will team up in the backfield with LeVeon Bell and assist the putrid Jets offensive line in pass protection for Sam Darnold.

Gore has been the consummate professional in every locker room he has been in dating back to his days in a Hurricanes uniform.

Here is Jets head coach, Adam Gase’s reaction when he learned he would be reunited with his former player.

Frank has been employed by the San Fransisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, and now the J-E-T-S! He was one Bill Belichick (landline) phone call away from completing the AFC East quadfecta.

Mr. Gore and his cantaloupe-sized testicles have been the model of consistency since 2005. His career has been remarkable to this point considering how the running back position has been severely devalued in the last decade.

 Let’s peek at his statistics:

Can F.G make it to his age-40 season?

Jim Thorpe (1928 Chicago Cardinals) and Ken Strong for the 1947 New York Giants were the last Canton Half Backs to accomplish that.

Frank The Tank is 3009 yards shy of breaking Emmitt Smith’s rushing record. It is not a lock that he will surpass the former legendary Cowboy.

In terms of his Hall of Fame candidacy, that is a lock for sure.
